Come hear Taylor Adams, a Northampton native, speak and show photos and footage from his May 2019 expedition to the roof of the world— Mt. Everest. At 29,029 feet, Everest is well into the “death zone.” On one of the mountain’s deadliest years on record, Taylor was able to summit even with the added burden of being a type 1 diabetic, making him the 4th diabetic and 2nd with an insulin pump to ever make it to the top of the world’s highest peak.
