Collecting Contemporary Art at the Mead: Student Proposals and Public Vote!
Friday, January 29, 2021
11:30 am – 1 pm EST
This year, the Mead’s annual Collecting 101 student acquisitions program is on hiatus. However, we’re partnering with students in “The Art Market” course, taught by Niko Vicario, assistant professor of Art and the History of Art to keep our audiences involved in selecting the next work of contemporary art for the Mead. Join us on Zoom to hear students make proposals and vote in real-time for the artwork the Mead will acquire.
This acquisition is made possible by a generous gift from Scott Nagle ’85, Mead Advisory Board member. This program is presented in collaboration with Niko Vicario’s “The Art Market” and the Department of Art and the History of Art.
Free & open to all!
This program will take place via Zoom. Registration is required. Please click here to sign-up and for access to the Zoom link.
