This special program will take a closer look at Northampton’s arts scene–from the 1970s on into the future and will also include the public premiere of Vision of Thornes, a 13-minute documentary about Gordon Thornes’ philosophy about the arts and his experience in Northampton. Speakers will include Andrea Olsen, Stephen Petegorsky, Laurie Sanders and Elizabeth Sharpe.
Following the screening, audience members will be invited to share their thoughts about the role of creativity in shaping community and the relationship between business and the arts.
At the end of the discussion, all who are interested will be able to join Jeff Bliss and Richard Wagner for a behind-the-scenes tour of the new Community Arts Trust building.
Suggested donation: $5-$10 at the door.
