The Apple Hill String Quartet will discuss and play a work by one of Peru’s leading composers, Celso Garrido-Lecca, who undertook the challenge of creating authentic Peruvian and Chilean music in the classical tradition. This intriguing work will be part of the APSQ program for Valley Classical Concerts on Sunday, October 22 in Sweeney Concert Hall.
