Join us for a special kid-friendly Sunday matinee performance of select works by PVPA’s highly accomplished student dance companies: Catalyst, WOFA (West African Dance and Drum) and Funkadelic Hip Hop Company in partnership with PVPA’s Dance Education Laboratory outreach program. Children of all ages will enjoy this interactive and fun exploration of different genres and styles of dance. Directed by PVPA’s Director of Arts Programs, Ann Biddle, Dance for Every Child features many diverse styles of dance from Hip Hop to West African Dance to Improvisation and Contemporary. This one-hour matinee show also offers children a chance to come up on stage and dance along side the PVPA dancers!
