Nearly 30 APAS artists will exhibit over 100 paintings that are the result of directly engaging with the natural world, some painted completely en plein air, others started in the field and completed in the studio. Studio artists will also exhibit paintings inspired by their sketches, studies, fantasies, and photographs of nature.

Members presenting work in this exhibition are: Simone Alter-Muri, David Barclay, Katherine Benfer, Martha Brouwer, Carol Davis, Sally Dillon, Helen Hodges, Maggie Hodges, Mary Kersell, Ruthie Kosiorek, Christine Labich, Meryl Mandell, Judy Novak, Susanne Personette, Mary Porcino, Sherri Poirrier, Susan Reyes, Ruth Rinard, Sophie Rogers, Stephen Schneider, Judith Seelig, Stephen Sengebush, Valerie Steinberg, Joanne Tebaldi, Maryclaire Wellinger, Heide Zajonc, and Sally Zigmond.

APAS was founded in 2015 as an organization for artists to paint en plein air together outdoors to paint our regional landscape. Some of our member have been painting for decades, while others are new to painting – and everything in between.
