Forbes Library Storytime for Grownups

Why should kids have all the fun? On Friday, September 18, 10 am-12 pm, join Forbes Library staff, volunteers and community for a monthly read-aloud of short, reader-chosen selections that may include novel excerpts, essays, poetry, short stories, or grocery lists! Stop by our virtual reading room for one reading or a whole bunch and help us celebrate the power of story and human voice to connect us.

If you’d like to read a selection in the next Storytime for Grownups, please email reference@forbeslibrary.org with your name, author & title of the reading, and how many minutes your reading will be (15 max)  and we’ll be in touch about putting you on the program!  Reading choices can include anything you like that’s 15 minutes or less and appropriate for a general audience.
