THE LAST WALTZ (7 – 9PM)
Seventeen years after joining forces as the backing band for rockabilly cult hero Ronnie Hawkins, Canadian roots rockers The Band call it quits with a lavish farewell show at San Francisco’s Winterland Ballroom on Nov. 25, 1976. Filmed by Martin Scorsese, this documentary features standout performances by rock legends such as Bob Dylan, Van Morrison, Eric Clapton, Joni Mitchell and Muddy Waters, as well as interviews tracing the group’s history and discussing road life.
TINY HOUSE SCREENING (6:30 – 7PM)
A recent addition to Green River Festival, the Tiny House Stage features pop-up sets from main stage artists. Watch our biggest performers let their hair down in an intimate, back porch setting and surprise the audience with unforgettable, acoustic jams! We’ll be screening some of our favorite performances from the past two years and sharing a BIG announcement for the 3rd annual Tiny House Concerts at Green River Festival!
