WHAT: Northampton Jazz Workshop features trombonist Steve Davis
One of the hottest players on the New York scene today just happens to be one of our regular guest artists and good friends. Trombonist Steve Davis has been recently working with all the top players in NYC, recording, gigging and touring internationally. He is currently on the road with the Christian McBride Big Band. It’s always fun, straight ahead and hard swinging when Steve comes so I hope you can join us. Steve is also an inspired educator and I’m sure many of his past and present students will show up for the jam session that follows the concert set. Also, Jon Fisher will be back on drums and I’m sure sounding great as he returns from working seven days a week with some great players on a cruise ship. http://stevedavismusic.com
