Come out to enjoy long summer nights in Downtown Northampton with free live music in Pulaski Park! The Northampton Arts Council, in its fourth year of presenting concerts in the Park, continues a long-held musical tradition that dates back to the 1970’s. Join us and many of your friends and neighbors for live music and dancing in our beautifully renovated Park in the heart of Downtown Northampton.
We will present five live concerts on Friday evenings, live vinyl only dj starts at 4:00pm, with the bands starting at 6:00pm. Salsa Dancing will take place on two select Saturday evenings, each Salsa night begins with free instruction and live dance performances (see detailed schedule below.) The second evening of Salsa on Saturday August 17th will be accompanied with the live salsa band Komboloko performing a Willie Colón & Rubén Blades Tribute.
All events will take place in Pulaski Park and admission is free for all!

Our mission is to showcase the best music from the pioneer valley alongside top notch touring acts while bringing together the local community to enjoy the many benefits of our picturesque downtown. Outdoor concerts on summer nights in downtown Northampton is a tradition that dates back to the 1970s. Since that time, Northampton has been fertile ground for producing unique original music, often renowned on the national level. The lineup for the 2019 series reflects this trend and will showcase acts of varying age & style to each other and the community at large. This year, the Northampton Arts Council is producing the summer series in what promises to be the best summer yet!
