SCDT Youth Dance is an all-inclusive movement program designed
to ignite creativity, curiosity, and individuality in children and teens
through a mutual love of moving our bodies!
This program is intended to bring together students of all backgrounds in a safe space in which we can learn together and from another while doing what our bodies were made to do…move! Classes are offered for different ages and interests, and provide a structured platform for age-appropriate technique, improvisation, composition and play! We offer students a platform in which they can nurture their creative side and develop movement skills to support a healthy mind and body. Each student will also have the opportunity to co-collaborate on making dances and performing in our end of season performance with our teen pre-professional company, Hatchery.
SCDT Youth Dance is an ideal place for students of all levels interested in developing their knowledge of dance and movement, while having a whole lot of fun doing so.
