What does it mean to make and continually remake a museum? Smith College Museum of Art has launched a new exhibition, and this question is its central premise. In celebration of SCMA100 — and while the museum remains closed to the general public this fall — visitors can experience this show online. The exhibition invites viewers to join the museum in looking back to look forward, as SCMA continues to refine what it means to be a museum in the 21st century.
