Join Forbes Library staff, volunteers and community for a monthly read-aloud of short, reader-chosen selections that may include novel excerpts, essays, poetry, short stories, or grocery lists! Stop by our virtual reading room to listen, enjoy and celebrate the power of story and human voice to connect us.

If you’d like to read a selection in the next Storytime for Grownups, please email reference@forbeslibrary.org with your name, author & title of the reading, and how many minutes your reading will be (15 max), and we’ll be in touch about putting you on the program! Reading choices can include anything you like that’s up to about 15 minutes long and appropriate for a general audience.
