Rebecca Meyers teaches in Film/Media Studies and is the Academic Film Programmer for Bucknell screenings at The Campus Theatre. She is a Board Member of Canyon Cinema, a San Francisco foundation dedicated to educating the public about non-commercial, experimental and artist-made moving images, and she serves on the Review Board for Sensate: A Journal for Experiments in Critical Media Practice. Rebecca is a filmmaker working in 16mm and was named “One of 25 Filmmakers to Watch for the 21st Century” in a 2010 Film Comment poll. Teaching interests include editing, sound design, film aesthetics, avant-garde cinema and independent film exhibition and distribution.
