CALLING ALL YOUTH ARTISTS IN THE VALLEY!
Valley Performance Playground and the Northampton Center for the Arts are teaming up to offer the Youth Performance Festival, a unique new program for artists in Northampton and surrounding areas.
Young artists ages 8-18 are invited to create an original performance piece in the genres of theater, dance, music, poetry, and video. Local performing artists will mentor participants during open rehearsal times on Saturday afternoons from December 14th to February 1st. The youth artists will then experience a fully produced performance festival and present their work to the community on February 8th and 9th, 2020.
Participation is free, and anyone who is interested is encouraged to attend an information session on Sunday, December 8 from 2:30-4:00pm at the Northampton Center for the Arts at 33 Hawley St.
